I'm too beginner here and don't know anything about designing
But i wonder why this happens?
This weird line continues every time I wanna draw something

I'm assuming you're drawing with the bezier/pen tool? Effort checking the tool settings at the top left (run across attached paradigm). Make sure the style is prepare to the start icon (create regular bezier path) and the 'Shape' section is fix to None. Does that help?

OK.....I take drawn an unfilled rectangle and put some text in it. But now I am stuck on what might exist the simplest of questions; cannot find the topics in help:
1) How practice I describe a direct line?
2) How exercise I draw an arrow? Do I demand to construct it or does Inkscape accept some arrow shapes somewhere?
#iv Bob Zwicker @CannotDraw
Well I figured out the straight line......I feel like that ought to exist the first or second easiest thing to do later "move". The Bezier curve is "off my radar screen." Information technology is like an American going to a French eatery and looking on the menu for the fried potatoes. But it is buried in the CASSOULET menu item.
So now that I found the straight line, how do I draw an arrow?

In the fill and stroke window (shift ctrl f) nether the stroke style tab yous can click the end cap to change it into different styles and youll notice an arrow there

Thank you. Nether stroke fashion > Cap I see but barrel cap, circular cap, and square cap. Only I do see an pointer head there under "markers" and accept applied an pointer caput to my stroke. Is there whatsoever way to adjust the size of the arrow head without irresolute the width of the stroke?
I approximate it depends on what size of arrow, only heres an easy mode, create a very then rectangle, chg it to a path, fill it with a color (black). And then, create a triangle (can do that mult ways, ex, create a foursquare, convert it to a path, move or delete one of the corner nodes, voila. Fill up it with color. Then group the two items.
Cheers, Flamingolady and Sathish S. The 2 part construction sounds a bit complicated. I suppose if I want something very creative this might be good but but to use in a block diagram (or flow chart.) Do you lot retrieve that is the only way I tin can make an arrow with which I can adjust the size of the arrowhead?
Yes I have establish the arrowhead in the markers. I would not have thought that a "marker" is what I am looking for. Anyway I guess I have two workable methods.
Thank you again.

I had difficulty to submit the above answer. For some reason the spider web page did not have my submittal. Something about the code of conduct?........I had read that a couple of times. Later on closing the window I was able to use the dorsum button, so copy what I typed and close window again, then paste to re-submit. And so it worked. Not sure what is going on with this spider web page.
