CES 2022: Nuu Konnect Hotspot Promises US$10 Global LTE

The Kuu Konnect i1 looks like information technology could be a great choice for frequent travelers and Nuu brought working units to the Pepcom printing event here in Las Vegas. "This is brand new engineering science. You haven't reviewed anything similar this hotspot," said Tim Clemens, Senior Vice President at Nuu.
The Konnect works in 88 countries, soon to exist 108, thanks to a combination of virtual SIM and SIM-bank engineering science, Clemens added. The company can purchase a stock of virtual SIMs from different providers for its hotspots to dynamically link and unlink to, allocating them or adding new SIMs at will, he shared. That makes Nuu'south technology very flexible.
The hotspot uses an LTE Grade 6 Qualcomm modem and works on the T-Mobile network in the US and Rogers in Canada. It connects upward to five devices to the Internet and supports VPNs and Wi-Fi calling. With LTE bands ane/2/3/4/5/7/8/17/20/39/40/41, it will work across the globe.
The hotspot won't be offered as a rental and Nuu didn't requite a cost for the hardware. "It'south buy it and use it, and you can just buy whatever yous want," he said.
